Early in the morning, news arrived from Siófok that the biggest fish of the competition so far had been caught: Team Nikl & Carp R Us – UB landed a 32.47 kg common carp, which currently puts them in the lead in the Biggest Common Carp category.

The morning brought more major developments, as a new leader also emerged in the mirror carp category. Fishing at Gumirádli Strand in Balatonakarattya, Carp Brothers Hunters caught a 26.30 kg mirror carp on peg 268, taking over the lead in the Biggest Mirror Carp category. For much of the day, conditions remained overcast, and from the afternoon onward, first- or second-degree storm warnings were in effect almost continuously around Lake Balaton. Teams therefore had to react not only to fish movement and tactical demands, but also to the rapidly changing conditions.

By the evening of the third day, the overall standings were also extremely close.
