The biggest Hungarian event for hunters, anglers, and nature lovers has come to an end. The largest hunting event in Central Europe and the only Hungarian fishing exhibition of spring 2025 welcomed 200 exhibitors from 13 countries to Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center. Alongside the exhibition, the FEHOVA-MEOESZ International Dog Show also took place, featuring more than 4,200 registered dogs!
Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén, President of the National Hungarian Hunting Association, emphasized at the opening ceremony of the 31st FeHoVa International Exhibition that Hungary has reasonable and practical firearm and hunting laws, which are considered among the best internationally.

Hungarian game populations are a valuable national treasure that must be preserved for future generations, stated István Nagy, Minister of Agriculture, at the opening. He also highlighted that in 2024, Hungary streamlined its game management regulations, including firearm and ammunition usage and storage laws. A significant update now allows for unlimited hunting of non-native large game species in designated hunting areas during the season. Minister Nagy emphasized that Hungary’s game management is now fully sustainable, with Hungarian fallow deer trophies leading the world rankings for decades.
Gábor Ganczer, CEO of Hungexpo Zrt., thanked professional partners and his team, stating that FeHoVa has become one of Hungexpo’s most popular exhibitions, a title it has held for decades.

In the angling pavilion, the MOHOSZ Agóra was packed with enthusiasts eager to meet world and European champion anglers, take photos, and hear their inspiring stories. The MOHOSZ Fishing School, bait boat tests, and fighting simulators were also major crowd-pullers.

The Nadler Trophy Exhibition once again displayed the most impressive trophies from 2022-2024, while a special showcase honored the life and legacy of Africa hunter Dr. Endre Nagy.

For the first time, students from the Mátra Forestry Technical School participated, with Dániel Pap scoring 81 points, securing the youth champion title and an overall third-place finish.
